‘Power’ and ‘Doing’ in the world

In the regular worldly sense, all power comes from structure.
And maintaining structural integrity is essential for doing anything.
Like imagine instead of tongs, you had 2 feathers.
Can you then even pick up a cookie with those 2 feathers?!
The power of the tongs comes from its structural resilience.

People in the world who are committed to being objective,
Are essentially committed to power itself.
Power here is holding one perspective “as absolute” and then changing/altering the surroundings with that in mind.
The example I used of the “feathers vs. tongs”, applies to the intangible and invisible mind levels too.

There is no “essential difference” between objective and subjective.
Objective = Solidified subjective.
“Doing something” implies “achieving some goal”.
And so the “goal” becomes the “organizing principle” for “the structure” you decide to cathect into.
And the goal itself comes from the “belief structure” which conditions the person’s vision, into seeing the goal as relevant/important in the first place.
The “belief structure conditioning” is from programming, environmental, social, cultural, parental, childhood influences, and the person’s own innate tendencies/nature/potentials/level of evolution/level of vision capacity etc. (referred to as samskharas, vasanas etc. in yogic terminology)

So there are different manifestations of power from:
Subtle —-to—– Gross
Spanning from the subtle and extending all the way to the gross.
For instance, which is more powerful?
A burned solid clay pot OR a ball of clay?
Generally we define power by our notion of usefulness/goals.
From that notion, the burnt clay pot is much more powerful to hold something inside it.
But metaphysical speaking and from a broader context, the ball of clay is actually more powerful. Because it can be shaped into anything.
Just like water is more powerful than anything solid.
Because the solid is rigid, and rigidity is also fragility.
However strong the solid is, it cannot match the strength of water.
Bruce Lee is known to have had profound insight from striking water, which is why his famous expression came out: “…Be like water my friend…”.

So there is apparent power and there is real power.
Like supposing a gunman is hired by a secret agency to threaten someone.
Who is more powerful? The gunman? OR the agency?
The gunman has the gun, and looks to be the one in power.
But really he is only carrying out the agency’s bidding who have convinced him that being an instrument for their cause would be in his interest.
So it is the agency that is actually in power, is it not?

Lets take another example that challenges our standard notion of what power is.
Is an adult more powerful than a child?
Well from the looks of it, it seems like obviously the adult is more powerful.
But the child can be programmed to become anything.
Actuality is ONE, but POTENTIAL is Infinite.
I think the essential difference I am pointing out here is of:
The power to do —-vs—– The power to be.
And I would argue the power to BE vastly trumps the power to DO, from a metaphysical context, because it is prior to the doing, and it is what shapes the doing itself.

The self and other are interchangeable

There is self expansion.
And there is self contraction.
When the self expands,
You include the other as self.
When the self contracts,
What was self earlier is seen as an other.

This happens so many times in our day to day life.
What was once the most exciting thing,
After some time, once all the juice gets extracted,
The very same thing becomes a burden.
Maybe we explore a new philosophical system,
And then completely separate ourselves from that later.
All of these are cases where,
In the moment of expansion = we absorbed an other into self.
And in the moment of contraction = we detached a portion of self and made it an other.

We feel the body is self,
When we want to do so many things in the world with it.
But once we complete everything,
The body gets removed from the self,
and is seen as an other, as a kind of burden.
What was once an asset is seen as a liability.

So the implications are many.
One of them is that,
The way you treat others is eventually going to become the way you treat yourself.
This is because, initially the self is expanded, and its dominion is large (the others are far out).
But when the self contracts, what was once seen as self becomes the other, and you start treating that as such.
Your own body can become an other to you.

So the self-other is a changing dynamic,
Waxing and waning.
Expanding and contracting.
When contracted your aperture greatly shrinks.
When expanded your aperture greatly widens.
When expanded all that you thought was other becomes you.
When contracted all that you thought was you becomes an other.

That is why in profound lsd (or psychedelic) trips say,
Owing to the dramatic expansion of self/widening of aperture,
We start to connect with everything.
And similarly in our most contracted moods,
We see everything as a threatening or burdensome other,
Which might even include our entire body.

Different planes, death, and enlightenment

Our different bodies exist in different planes:
# Physical -> Astral -> Causal -> Spirit
# Gross -> Subtle -> Causal -> Source
# Assiah -> Yetzirah -> Briah -> Atziluth (From Kabbalah)

Death happens at different levels.
Physical death -> Astral death -> Causal death -> Merger into Source
# The source first empowers all the bodies in an inbreath like process, which is the sequence during the birth process:
Causal vessel/body 1st -> then Astral vessel/body 2nd -> then Physical vessel/body 3rd.
# Then the source is disengaged, an outbreath like release happens, and dying happens one by one.
First the Physical vessel lets go -> Then astral vessel lets go -> Then causal vessel lets go.

Birth and Death at all levels is the play of the spirit/source.
It is the breath of spirit.
# Spirit inbreath -> Becoming Maya (the various planes and bodies)
# Then Spirit outbreath -> where its lets go all the illusions and returns to true nature.

In Enlightenment:
You trade the drop for the ocean itself, which is [the ground of intelligence, quantum field], from which all drops emerge.
To be enlightened is to know/realize at your being that you are the source itself, but operating through that drop.
This realization then maximally empowers the drop to serve the higher will of the field.

Wisdom for helping others

Beings learn at their own pace from their own level.

# They may even go the wrong direction until they realize rock-bottom or the dead end or the circular nature of their condition.

# Even if insight is given to them, depending on their level of awakeness they may even ignore it completely or forget it almost immediately.

# There has to be enough ego/self/responsibility/vision in them to even understand/consider the significance/relevance of the insight communicated to them.

# And if there is more than sufficient ego/self/responsibility/vision, then they would willingly be receptive/investigating/investing in suggestions for growth and vision improvements.

# Greater their vision/level of development, more would be their receptivity to even the smallest suggestions/cues, and they would take it upon themselves to advance/progress.

So it is important to keep these things in mind before helping someone.
Without this wisdom, the helper’s energy gets significantly wasted.

Knowledge, Free will, Intention, Humility

Real knowledge and Free will are connected.
Real knowledge allows your free will to serve you and the higher field.
Else if your free will is not in alignment with the higher field, to that degree you face opposition/resistance/pain.

Intention is a heart emanation.
Vision/Light is from the heart.
Desire is seeing, greater the desire = greater the seeing.
Knowledge is for the execution of the intention = for power/efficiency/innovation.

Humility is to realize your limitations and condition.
Humility is relative to your recognition of what true power is, and how little of that you actually possess.
Humility is from the recognition of your own ignorance.
Humility is the precursor to an exploration and a consequent knowledge upgrade.

The nature of time

Depends on the dimension.
3d time = linear (like driving along a mobius strip, it always looks straight)
4d time = cyclic
5d time = fractal
6d time = maybe the true place of decision/choice/free will.

Sex would not have issues if there was enough love

The whole sex issue would not exist at all if there was enough love.
If there was enough love:
# The woman would love the man, and will freely receive him, allowing him to fully express himself to her physically.
# The man would freely love the woman, and will fully give himself physically to her.

This would not apply just to sex, which is one of the needs.
It would extent to everything.
Needs will be sensed naturally by the other and fulfilled without any force/violence.

There would be no resistance at all from either side, from the yin or yang.
The yang would pour itself into the yin whole-heartedly.
The yin would receive the yang whole-heartedly.
Creating an eternal dance.

Think of the ideal child and mother relationship.
The mother senses the needs of the child naturally, and effortlessly attunes herself to the child.
Supposing this was less that ideal, what would happen?
The child would have to struggle, cry, scream, beg, plead, throw things, and try to desperately get attention, because it is helpless to fulfill itself.
If nothing worked, it would feel powerless and despaired, and just resign.
Now would such a child have ANY TRUST in the world?
The trust in the world really begins from the mother.
That would be a different topic to explore.

A man represents potential/shiva/power.
A woman represents projection/shakti/creation.
A man rejecting woman = potential rejecting creation.
A woman rejecting man = creation rejecting potential.

Only the field exists, you do not

The whole unitive journey is about: becoming the field/surrendering/dissolving/merging into it totally.
Once united, what you are doing then, is what the field is doing.
And it does so automatically and effortlessly, of itself.

You are then simply in a state of absolute transparency, allowing, devotion, until you are not there at all, and only the field is.
RULE: “You are, when the field is not. When the field is, you are not”
So the field is not on your terms.
It is on its own terms.
The field is like the father who is driving.
The son/separate self is like the one with the toy steering that thinks he is driving.
The more ambitious the son, the more obviously he would realize that he was not in control and never was.

RULE: “Only the field exists, you do not exist.”
“You” are an illusion, stemming from ignorance.
There is a singular whole, and that is the only doer.
RULE: “The whole moves the whole, no part moves the whole, no part moves another part.”
RULE: “The same energy that makes the sun come up, the stars shine, the birds chirp, is the same energy that moves me and my experience.”
Relinquish all control and “let go/merge/unite/be/dissolve/align/drop/become one” with the field.
Only the field exists.

Depression seen from a deeper place

fathermothershadow

When we are young, the conditions of love are told to us.
Even if they are not explicitly told, we can easily intuit it.
We look at the environment around us with the question:
“What must I be? What must I do? What must I become?” to get the love I desire?

Love is first for survival, because if nobody loves you, you will not survive.
Even if you were unwanted and parents took care of you just as a duty, that is still because they love to be morally right/socially right etc.
So love is required to survive when you are dependent esp.

After the survival stage is passed, love is still needed for enrichment, growth, expansion, flourishing, prosperity, real wealth, and so on.

So coming back to the topic, depression is from the loss of hope, that you can ever be/become/do something that will get you love.
Thereafter the person just lives hand to mouth existentially.
Some force in him keeps living mechanically like clockwork in cycles, but he loses all hope and falls into grief.
All his mental energies fall like a dead weight on him, like a cross which he carries and walks in despair, in the endless desert.
He becomes totally apathetic, and wishes for deep sleep to carry him away to non-existence permanently.
His daily life with this cross on his back then resembles the ‘Sisyphus myth’ i.e. rolling a rock up the hill only to watch it roll down again and repeat.

What I have described is only the surface. Let’s dive further in.
From the archetypal perspective, the world is your projection.
Everything including love shines forth from you, from the source.
If you give all of your projections away to impossible ideals, depression is inevitable.
How does this happen?
It could be a combination of your own innate tendency to do that (hyper-ambition) coupled with being born in a family (which you might have attracted from a tendency match).
So in such a case, usually the family i.e. parents, siblings etc. feel they are profoundly unworthy and undeserving, and each of them have an impossible ideal which receives their light.
As a result of that, they are always in the dark shadow of undeservingness, poverty, desperation, grief, unworthiness, and deep-ambivalence of hope.
So now when you are born, you osmotically pick up the ideals from them which may go unconscious in you by the time you grow up.
But it is those ideals that are getting your light, which are unconscious to you.
In your conscious experience, you may only see meaninglessness, darkness, apathy, disinterest, futility, despair, dim view about the future etc.
But the far away faint ideal receives all of your light.
It is like how when we have a full solar eclipse, that shadow blocks off a large portion of the earth.
In this case, the ideal that you have given away your love to, casts a huge shadow on you, turning you into its prisoner in deprivation.
This is the abstract description of the situation of depression.

I’ll give an example.
Say you look at magazine images of male and female models, and compare yourself to them.
If you project all of your love on them, and believe only they deserve love, and if you are far from that image, then to that extent you will fall in the shadow of hate.
You see them 100 times more clearly than you see yourself because they have received all of your light, like the other side of the moon in the eclipse.
Loving others more than loving yourself, or co-dependence is likely, because the other has been projected as lovely, which means in relativity to that, you will definitely fall in the shadow of hate.
Hate is darkness, which means literally, you will be mostly unconscious to yourself.
Now many different actions are possible from this condition:
* You can try to become like them, give all of your energies to that, depending on the level of shame you feel and the level of idealization you have projected on them. This will not give you depression, but will make you pursue the ideal like your life depends on it.
* If you realize it is impossible for you to be like them, then you lose hope of ever becoming something worthy of love, and fall into hopelessness, despair, unworthiness, and the smoke of grief we call depression.
For some people these ideals are more literal = like money, body, possessions, achievement etc.
But often, these ideals are more obscure, elusive, and contradict each other.
The contradiction is what makes the depression impossible to overcome on its terms.
Like what if the one who is loved has to be:
“Extraordinary enough to be admired, adored, worshipped.
But ordinary enough to be loved, included, and belong.”
So the 2 conditions above are contradictory almost.
So you could have tons of such impossible ideals.
Then they will definitely paralyze you, take away all of your light, and leave you with nothing, in the shadow.
I see this as one of the chief deeper causes of depression.

About Kundalini

I read that there are 3 stages of enlightenment:
# Stage 1: Gautam Buddha is behind you as a shadow.
# Stage 2: The Buddha comes in front of you, and you become the shadow.
# Stage 3: There is no more of you – not even a shadow, only the Buddha is.
(more information is available on this if you google it)

The kundalini initiates all 3 of these stages.
Kundalini is the “ascension energy” itself.
The “returning to source” movement from base to the crown chakra and beyond (not literal physical location, but more in terms of shifting of energy density from gross to subtle).
Spiritual seeking (the true kind) is from kundalini basically.
Kundalini is present in everyone but dormant, that is why this process is called kundalini awakening and kundalini rising.
Though I say “base to the crown”, the actual process is mystical and non-linear, not a linear flow from base to top in terms of physical location.
That is only for the purpose of symbolic representation.
Kundalini is like the stored source energy(potential) that serves as a vehicle to carry you back to source, it is the agency of transformation.

The concept of transcendence and spirituality does not even occur or appeal to someone whose kundalini is still dormant.
A sincere longing and seeking appears only after kundalini awakens.
Else there is no desire or any interest in such stuff, and such subjects.
The longing to transcend is the desire/potential, the force that makes you explore/seek/do sadhana is the kinetic/action.
That dormant potential that carries to the next dimension is the kundalini shakti.

It is like the upward current that carries you to a lower density, as your being receives greater energy.
Higher the energy = lower the density, like the molecules of gases have a lot more energy than liquids and solids.
Going up to lower density planes means, there is new information, new perception, new laws that are intuited, which are all the unfamiliar new terrains that are passed through in this process.
The “dark night of the soul”, is a stage in this kundalini ascension process, especially applies if you move very rapidly.
You can only move as fast as the amount of ‘loss’ you can handle and process.

So to recap the main points:
Kundalini is a symbolic system which represents the power/vehicle/fuel that carries you through the process of transcendence to lower densities planes from your current higher density plane.
This process is that it is highly mystical, non-linear, and beyond our understanding, at a level of mystery that is similar to life, birth, and death itself.
