Dependent and Narcissist personality spectrum

The brain always chooses the better option, in its own judgment.
Whether Conscious or unconscious,
Depends on whether that mechanism,
Which was formed when young, was owned/claimed.

In dependent personality or narcissistic personality,
There is an unconscious polarization mechanism.
In the dependent polarity it thinks, “the other always knows better and is better”.
In the narcissist polarity it thinks, “I always know better and am better”.
There is a parent imago projection:
Positive parent imago projection = favor the other and self-sacrifice as much as possible.
Negative parent image projection = favor the self, and stick to self as much as possible.
Which is: Idealization or devaluation of parents in the self structure.

Very early premature individuation = narcissism.
Unable to individuate and being dependent on the other = dependent personality.
Individuation at the balanced time = balanced social personality mix.

Generally the kid will take on the opposite polarization of the opp-sex parent,
If that parent invests in the kid (This insight needs more investigation though).
Dependent children usually have a narcissist opposite sex parent.
Narcissist children usually have a dependent opposite sex parent.

Individual and Society

I will be using some Jungian terms here.
Individual = Personal conscious = Individual light.
For this, there is a corresponding: Personal unconscious = Individual shadow.

Similarly,
There is:
Society = Collective conscious = Collective light.
And a corresponding: Collective unconscious = Collective shadow.
Another related aspect is – Collective karma and Personal karma.

Each culture/societal organization operates with a certain gravity.
Like how the gravity of the nucleus of the atom holds together the orbital electrons.

The actors, celebrities, stars, sportsmen, iconic figures, business magnates, politicians, etc. i.e. all of which that are considered, deemed, and celebrated as success, form the nucleus of society.
The regular consumers and citizens of society, go around this nucleus like electrons.
If there is no other powerful gravity center influencing them, then the society gravity controls their desires/emotions/actions, and pulls them towards its nucleus.
That is why, the driving force of most people is to rise the pyramid of status and popularity, to reach the nucleus of society, where instead of them revolving around society, society revolves around them, and they are in the power position.

Reality vs. Virtual Reality

vr

If you know something is ‘virtual reality’, would you invest/immerse yourself in it?
Would you allow yourself to believe it?
Would you willingly suspend your disbelief?
No matter how overwhelming and high-def the sensory content provided to you is, will you ever lose sight of the fact that it is virtual/unreal?
OR Will it be like a movie where we can plug in and out of it at will?
In a movie, we make the movie ‘feel real’ by virtue of our INVESTMENT, isn’t it?
So what makes something real or unreal?
I feel INVESTMENT/CATHECTION/ATTENTION is what makes ANYTHING real.
So withdrawal of investment implies withdrawal of that reality itself from your consciousness.

Super hi-def Virtual reality that mimics our sensory resolutions will open up a whole new interest in deep metaphysical questions (similar to the feelings Neo had in the matrix movie when he was first shown the nature of reality).
If all REALITY is from our INVESTMENT, then what about this solid reality we experience as the “REAL WORLD”?
Could we call that – our own UNCONSCIOUS INVESTMENT?

I see it as 2 poles:
Movie/VR is conscious investment ——while——- ‘Hard Reality’ is unconscious investment

Even an attempt to change the movie implies investment in the movie.
To “take/claim/redeem” your “power/freedom” back is to redeem your “attention/investment/cathexis” from the unconscious.
I see this as the whole quest of realization and freedom/transcendence.
