Wisdom for helping others

Beings learn at their own pace from their own level.

# They may even go the wrong direction until they realize rock-bottom or the dead end or the circular nature of their condition.

# Even if insight is given to them, depending on their level of awakeness they may even ignore it completely or forget it almost immediately.

# There has to be enough ego/self/responsibility/vision in them to even understand/consider the significance/relevance of the insight communicated to them.

# And if there is more than sufficient ego/self/responsibility/vision, then they would willingly be receptive/investigating/investing in suggestions for growth and vision improvements.

# Greater their vision/level of development, more would be their receptivity to even the smallest suggestions/cues, and they would take it upon themselves to advance/progress.

So it is important to keep these things in mind before helping someone.
Without this wisdom, the helper’s energy gets significantly wasted.

Your conceptual mind functions holographically

Let us understand a few basics about holograms that would apply here:
1. Holograms are as the name suggests, always whole.
2. Every part of the hologram contains the whole.
3. The additional elements of the hologram only add ‘detail’, but the inherent same wholeness is carried by all the parts.
4. For example if you cut a hologram into half, then both the halfs that would result from would contain the same whole albeit in less detail.

From what I’ve read, our entire brain works like a hologram.
Even if you take away half of the brain, the wholeness of consciousness stays, only the details are lost.
So this validates another concept that resonates with me that the brain and body are only FOCUSING instruments of the potentials of consciousness.
Something like a channeling or focusing instrument.
Like putting a slide in front of the projector light that projects the image on the slide.
The ‘slide image’ is like our body and brain.
Suppose the ‘slide image’ gets smudged, then the projector light will still shine through the slide, but it would create a really hazy and blurry image.
The source of consciousness is like the projector light, and it shines through the body and projects our experiences.
Like how electricity is everywhere, but our device channels it in a certain way to produce a certain output, similarly, our body focuses the light of consciousness in a certain way, much like a prism or diamond diffracts white light entering it.

I read somewhere that in certain kinds of autism, the person cannot form abstract concepts at all.
For instance, he cannot comprehend the full concept of what a dog is.
That part of the brain does not capture the “Conceptual Image” of dog.
So when you say dog, he can recall 10s of particular images of different dogs, but he cannot understand ‘dog’ as an abstract concept.
This means that, that part of his brain is unable to FOCUS the “abstract conceptual image” of a dog.
So what this example conveyed to me was that, our conceptual mind is a certain abstract structure in our brain that focuses and sees the ‘abstract concepts’ in the particulars. The recognition of the ‘dog concept’ when looking at the particular/literal dog.
This conceptual imaging part of our brain, works holographically, and brings into focus these abstract conceptual images.
Only once these are perceived in the first place by this part, can memories be stored and recalled.
Once the GENERIC concept is captured, all specific/particular knowledge and details learned/gained thereafter only add to the detail of the concept image, but not to the intrinsic qualia/wholeness of what was perceived (just like the hologram).

That is why in spiritual circles, the concept of awakening and initiation abounds.
Because the part of you that sees the forest in the trees has to be awakened, in a far larger context than your day to day conceptual mind.
Moving from literals to the daily conceptual mind itself is in itself a huge evolutionary jump and an awakening.
The awakening of the symbolic/metaphysical/archetypal/mythological/theological/soul level of mind is another jump of evolution.
Only after this is awakened can such symbols, motifs, themes, and super abstract ideas even be cognized/perceived/recognized.
And it is only after they are perceived first, can they be stored(memory), named, and spoken about.

The spectrum is basically from:
Literalliteral mind—-daily conceptual mind—-symbolic metaphysical mindAbstract
Like to see a picture you need to stand far enough back for your vision-frame to contain it.
If you are too close you only see pixels and you cannot see the ‘picture’.
So there are different vertical heights of vision possible.
A person at a very high height of perception is called a visionary.
Similarly a person at a very low height of perception is a very literal focused person.

Seeing the forest in the trees, and seeing a picture in the pixels, happens not by the same part of the mind that perceived the trees or pixels, but by a dimensionally higher qualitatively different part of the mind.
Concepts reside in the 5th dimension, in the plato’s world of eternal forms.
So it is all RECOGNITION.
You only recognize the higher form with the cue of the literal form.
All lower forms are only representational cues that point and thereby connect you to the higher forms.
The literal objects we see are shadows of the higher dimensional concepts in the 5D plato’s world of forms.
They are only a representational cue or aid of the higher dimensional perception.
For instance, how does a child learn language?
Isn’t it all words pointing to words?
All words are empty by themselves and they only point to the child’s direct experiences/perceptions/recognitions.

On Brain Transformation

The [Dynamic Ground] is the context while the [Ego] is the manager within that background context. (these terms were borrowed from the book: The Ego and the Dynamic Ground – Michael Washburn)

All [judgments/labeling/categorizing/concepting/focusing/lensing] -> is from the [Mind Net] cast over [WHAT IS (Actual Perception + Perception stemming from Memory)].
It is [Mind Vision].
To [see with the mind] is to cast this [instrument’s net].
It is to see ‘through’ this net.
But if mind is an instrument then what is the driver of this instrument? = [DESIRE]

[Conscious Desire/Interests/Passions] -> which are basically the [deeper unconscious/archetypal forces/energies/cathexis] passing through the [NET of Worldly-knowledge and memory] and getting translated into forms that can fit into the [symbolic order/outer world].
The brain works as a [CONDUIT AND NET] for [translating/prism-ing] the [inner soul unconscious subconscious desires/forces].
If this [Brain filter] is too dense, and if it serves as a very poor medium or translator for letting the [higher soul inner desires] to [manifest] through this [realm/plane/symbolic order], and if it is just [repressing/barring/walling/shielding/blocking] most of it, and if it accumulates a lot of [useless conditioned dead habits] -> then this brain instead of being a conduit becomes an [overhead/dead-weight/poor conducting/resisting medium] -> The [task/imperative] then becomes to seek higher knowledge that will help create a [BETTER CONDUCTING and LIGHTER BRIDGE], so that more of the [soul’s true desires] can be [conduit-ed/translated] into [freedom/action/expression] in this [outer realm/symbolic order/plane].
This sort of [Brain Transformation] comes from the [unmanifest/unconscious] but one can [intuit] what is happening.
[Consciously] one can only [witness and manage] the [transformation process] happening – which happens in the [background/backdrop/context].
The [imperative] therefore during [TRANSFORMATION] is to [serve the process] by being an [efficient conductor of the ORCHESTRA] that unfolds.

Q&A on Dark night of the soul

A friend and I were discussing about the dark night of soul, and she asked some really interesting questions, which I pondered on, and then wrote her a reply.

Here is the Q&A:
Q1 – At what point does someone acknowledge the disorientation and start focusing more on integration than destruction…?
I can answer from my experience. (I’m gonna write a lot, bear with me 🙂 )
I think both the processes happen together in transformation, but the degree varies. Like to give an extreme example, if I explode a bomb in a region, the old in the region dies, while the new gets born.
Sounds good in principle.
The only issue is the new looks like a post-apocalypic dystopian ruin site.
It might take many years for there to be a steady pace of growth of structures in this region.

If we look at what is dying – it is the dark night, if we look at what is being born – it is rebirth. Although the higher principle of simultaneity is present, we also see distinct season like patterns. Like how in Buddhist vipassana practice they delineate stages of evolution, and the dark night basically falls under – greater awareness of death/passing, than of arising/growth.
The vice versa can happen too, once the death potential is complete like the swinging of a pendulum to one end and stopping because its momentum is finished (simplistic example of the pattern).

I feel there is something deeper and greater(the soul?) that matures through this mysterious birth-death process, like in my case, I feel there is a gradual increase of overall maturity, deeper knowledge and deepening of context intuition etc. which has helped ease the ride through these confusing states of being. So nowadays I do notice much better stability overall and a deeper trust and relaxation, and also a better knowing/apprehension/clarity/discernment of appearance.
Like how growing up happens, it is not a single experience that makes one an adult, but a series of mystical journeys and passages. Something really super mystical/deep/abstract/intuitive is evolving from all the passing experiences.

I think one can say the dark night has ended, when there is a noticeable swing in the opposite direction/upswing of life force/spirit? Maybe a crystallization of a new vision, a renewed vigor, hope, expansion, love etc.? It’s hard to be really precise though, I feel the dark night ends depending on your overall evaluation of your gestalt. Like when your system becomes emptier, fresher, harmonized and radiant with energy and allows you to expand? – I don’t know, I may be presenting new kinds of wishful fantasies and dreams here, but just trying to create art with my words, so that you can see through it? 🙂

Q2 – At what point does someone become comfortable with perpetual dismantling and generation so that it’s no longer a “dark night”
Hmm, yea, I can see what you are pointing to. Like there is the suffering component (all forms) and the process of death itself (endarkment). I would say technically the process is on until there is the upswing resurgence of spirit influx (like an inbreath), however, one may develop high enough equanimity and understanding in its later stages, that he can ride through the emptiness (meaning like what you described quick fast alternating cycles of discontinuous creations). Maybe growth could also mean the intensification of the discontinuous creativity until it swallows all of the observer, making observer-observed ONE. Like one may ask, to who is this dark night of soul happening to?, and this would point to a subject/observer structure, which may get further dissoluted when contemplating deeper on the subject of the experience.

At one point does one become comfortable? hmm, that is possible only if your energy output and structure transcends the fluctuations that are happening. And I feel the fluctuations that are happening are basically structures in your psyche dying out from spirit withdrawal. So once a LOT of the death processes are completed in the psyche structure, then it feels a lot clearer, brighter, fresher, emptier and this may increase available energy for fresh creativity too. So maybe at that point, a person would start to feel comfortable, like he/she/it rises above the suffering vs. being debilitated and disabled by it.

Q3 Is it possible that a fascination with the “dark night” and identification with it might complicate the surrender necessary to move through it
I can totally see your point. Yes, but I think the fascination with dark night is also a psyche structure. My methodology is – if you are fascinated, go all into it, so much that it completes/exhausts itself. Isn’t it like any other passion? and how do we get over passions? -> my method is usually I go all in and do it so totally, and experience it so fully and deeply that I transcend it. I think we identify with things, until we are bored. Boredom seems to be the real mover. And I feel boredom is an impetus for moving on/trying something new/flowing/reevaluating etc. It seems like the precursor of all passion/creativity. So yea, I would say: Give into your fascination, passion, curiosity, so fully, and satisfy yourself so deeply without an agenda, that you automatically ride the wave of spirit
