The burning of karma

bonfire

Our experience has 2 components:
# A cyclic-physical component
# A non-cyclic intelligence component
The non-cyclic intelligence is like the fire of consciousness/awareness.
The cyclic-physical portion is what we call birth and death of the body-mind.
The residue of all the countless lives lived in the past,
Or time spent in different planes,
Keeps gathering as samskharas/tendencies in us.
So the fires of our current life rotate around these stored memories/patterns/imprints.
Just the experience of everyday living is coming from this fire burning up this karmic collection.

If we want to be truly liberated,
We have to raise the pitch and intensity of this fire of consciousness.
So that it burns like a bonfire.
This intensity of fire would then consume the karmic material at a much higher pace.
All that would have happened to you in many years, happens in a month or weeks say.
Experience happens with great intensity, including both sufferings and joys.
Life experience is then on fast forward.
Everything is a blur and whizzing past.

This raising of the pitch/intensity of the fire of consciousness,
Happens naturally as the longing to transcend deepens.
This longing naturally happens as a consequence,
Of our own ripeness, maturity, and level of evolution/development.
This then naturally increases the speed and intensity of our life experience,
As a result of this fire burning larger and stronger.

Eventually this fire consumes everything,
All your stored residues,
And you will be liberated.
You would then identify with the fire rather than the material it was burning through.
This identification slowly shifts as the process commences.
Initially you are identified with the material and feel there is also a fire present.
But eventually the fire gets more and more strong, and this causes a fundamental shift in identification.
You start to experience yourself as the fire itself more and more,
A deepening of this identity shift keeps happening,
Until finally, only the fire remains.

About Kundalini

I read that there are 3 stages of enlightenment:
# Stage 1: Gautam Buddha is behind you as a shadow.
# Stage 2: The Buddha comes in front of you, and you become the shadow.
# Stage 3: There is no more of you – not even a shadow, only the Buddha is.
(more information is available on this if you google it)

The kundalini initiates all 3 of these stages.
Kundalini is the “ascension energy” itself.
The “returning to source” movement from base to the crown chakra and beyond (not literal physical location, but more in terms of shifting of energy density from gross to subtle).
Spiritual seeking (the true kind) is from kundalini basically.
Kundalini is present in everyone but dormant, that is why this process is called kundalini awakening and kundalini rising.
Though I say “base to the crown”, the actual process is mystical and non-linear, not a linear flow from base to top in terms of physical location.
That is only for the purpose of symbolic representation.
Kundalini is like the stored source energy(potential) that serves as a vehicle to carry you back to source, it is the agency of transformation.

The concept of transcendence and spirituality does not even occur or appeal to someone whose kundalini is still dormant.
A sincere longing and seeking appears only after kundalini awakens.
Else there is no desire or any interest in such stuff, and such subjects.
The longing to transcend is the desire/potential, the force that makes you explore/seek/do sadhana is the kinetic/action.
That dormant potential that carries to the next dimension is the kundalini shakti.

It is like the upward current that carries you to a lower density, as your being receives greater energy.
Higher the energy = lower the density, like the molecules of gases have a lot more energy than liquids and solids.
Going up to lower density planes means, there is new information, new perception, new laws that are intuited, which are all the unfamiliar new terrains that are passed through in this process.
The “dark night of the soul”, is a stage in this kundalini ascension process, especially applies if you move very rapidly.
You can only move as fast as the amount of ‘loss’ you can handle and process.

So to recap the main points:
Kundalini is a symbolic system which represents the power/vehicle/fuel that carries you through the process of transcendence to lower densities planes from your current higher density plane.
This process is that it is highly mystical, non-linear, and beyond our understanding, at a level of mystery that is similar to life, birth, and death itself.

Your conceptual mind functions holographically

Let us understand a few basics about holograms that would apply here:
1. Holograms are as the name suggests, always whole.
2. Every part of the hologram contains the whole.
3. The additional elements of the hologram only add ‘detail’, but the inherent same wholeness is carried by all the parts.
4. For example if you cut a hologram into half, then both the halfs that would result from would contain the same whole albeit in less detail.

From what I’ve read, our entire brain works like a hologram.
Even if you take away half of the brain, the wholeness of consciousness stays, only the details are lost.
So this validates another concept that resonates with me that the brain and body are only FOCUSING instruments of the potentials of consciousness.
Something like a channeling or focusing instrument.
Like putting a slide in front of the projector light that projects the image on the slide.
The ‘slide image’ is like our body and brain.
Suppose the ‘slide image’ gets smudged, then the projector light will still shine through the slide, but it would create a really hazy and blurry image.
The source of consciousness is like the projector light, and it shines through the body and projects our experiences.
Like how electricity is everywhere, but our device channels it in a certain way to produce a certain output, similarly, our body focuses the light of consciousness in a certain way, much like a prism or diamond diffracts white light entering it.

I read somewhere that in certain kinds of autism, the person cannot form abstract concepts at all.
For instance, he cannot comprehend the full concept of what a dog is.
That part of the brain does not capture the “Conceptual Image” of dog.
So when you say dog, he can recall 10s of particular images of different dogs, but he cannot understand ‘dog’ as an abstract concept.
This means that, that part of his brain is unable to FOCUS the “abstract conceptual image” of a dog.
So what this example conveyed to me was that, our conceptual mind is a certain abstract structure in our brain that focuses and sees the ‘abstract concepts’ in the particulars. The recognition of the ‘dog concept’ when looking at the particular/literal dog.
This conceptual imaging part of our brain, works holographically, and brings into focus these abstract conceptual images.
Only once these are perceived in the first place by this part, can memories be stored and recalled.
Once the GENERIC concept is captured, all specific/particular knowledge and details learned/gained thereafter only add to the detail of the concept image, but not to the intrinsic qualia/wholeness of what was perceived (just like the hologram).

That is why in spiritual circles, the concept of awakening and initiation abounds.
Because the part of you that sees the forest in the trees has to be awakened, in a far larger context than your day to day conceptual mind.
Moving from literals to the daily conceptual mind itself is in itself a huge evolutionary jump and an awakening.
The awakening of the symbolic/metaphysical/archetypal/mythological/theological/soul level of mind is another jump of evolution.
Only after this is awakened can such symbols, motifs, themes, and super abstract ideas even be cognized/perceived/recognized.
And it is only after they are perceived first, can they be stored(memory), named, and spoken about.

The spectrum is basically from:
Literalliteral mind—-daily conceptual mind—-symbolic metaphysical mindAbstract
Like to see a picture you need to stand far enough back for your vision-frame to contain it.
If you are too close you only see pixels and you cannot see the ‘picture’.
So there are different vertical heights of vision possible.
A person at a very high height of perception is called a visionary.
Similarly a person at a very low height of perception is a very literal focused person.

Seeing the forest in the trees, and seeing a picture in the pixels, happens not by the same part of the mind that perceived the trees or pixels, but by a dimensionally higher qualitatively different part of the mind.
Concepts reside in the 5th dimension, in the plato’s world of eternal forms.
So it is all RECOGNITION.
You only recognize the higher form with the cue of the literal form.
All lower forms are only representational cues that point and thereby connect you to the higher forms.
The literal objects we see are shadows of the higher dimensional concepts in the 5D plato’s world of forms.
They are only a representational cue or aid of the higher dimensional perception.
For instance, how does a child learn language?
Isn’t it all words pointing to words?
All words are empty by themselves and they only point to the child’s direct experiences/perceptions/recognitions.

The intention of my blog posts

How many faces can you see in this picture?

facespuzzle

Each face represents a certain way of seeing, isn’t it?
My blog posts are something like that.
They are cues/pointers/symbols for various forms of seeing, perspectives, heights of perception, and various intelligences.
The intention of my blog posts is to “awaken perspectives” and “meta-cognition”.
As the title of my blog suggests, I myself am journeying to the abstract.
So, it is like, as I ascend to the sky like a hot-air balloon, I contemplate and reflect on what I see, and take various snapshots of different views and share it here as a kind of art.
My posts are not absolutes but are more like art pieces/snapshots from various heights of perception.
Though my posts can, at times, appear to be all around the place, in the larger sense, they mirror my own journey and evolution.
So I expect that the posts may get more ethereal with time.
But I never know.

The posts are not intended to replace your current point of view, rather, they are various forms of art/seeing/exercises that I share, to awaken/clarify/enrich that level of your own intelligence/height of perception.
Like how one learns addition in math, not by by-hearting 2+2=4, 4+4=8 etc., but by solving various kinds of addition problem exercises.
Similarly, all of my posts are “perspective art forms” of truths I share from my own level of vision/perception, and they are meant to awaken your own intelligence at various levels.
For people who are already awake to these perspectives, it is still a joy to share all of this with them as a form of play.
And every time someone reads and benefits from my content, it gives me encouragement to continue this work.

There are infinite awakenings

While taking a walk in the street, I felt a lot of fear.
I felt like this fear energy was obscuring/constricting/clumping my awareness greatly.
I felt like I was looking at reality through the dream of my fear.
Like if I could somehow take off the goggles of fear from my eyes, I would see reality as it really is.
This is spoken about a lot in the enlightenment circles, that you would see reality AS IT IS once the dream of the personal-self/ego disappears.

However I thought more deeply on this, and this did not seem to jibe with my experience.
A dream is real while it lasts, and it is the only reality until it lasts.
So what I was doing, was creating an abstract imagination of what ACTUAL REALITY would be like behind my dream structure of fear.
This was a mental object in my awareness – let’s call it [—Abstract ‘Actual’ reality–>>]
Then there was the [Sensory fear reality] object in my awareness, which included all the sights, sounds, and sensations of fear.
I called the [Sensory fear reality] object = Dream
And I called the [—Abstract ‘Actual’ reality–>>] object = Awakened reality (which is not an defined object, but more like a DIRECTION object]

[Direction Object = It is a term coined by me.
It is the extrapolation of a quality, it does not have an end, it is similar to a direction vector with arrows. For instance, I ask you to imagine an object infinitely far away from you. How would you imagine it? Think of some distance and keep stretching it out till you can hold it in your mind? That would be a direction object of imagination.
Compared to ordinary objects like body sensations etc.(vipassana parlance), direction objects are higher dimensional objects because they involve applying a transformation on a certain quality indefinitely and holding that in your mind space as a higher-object.]

So in the ONE awareness, I created 2 objects, and the practice I was doing was applying the [—Abstract ‘Actual’ reality–>>] direction-object/transformer-object on my [sensory fear reality] object as a SPIRITUAL PRACTICE.
So in a much larger perspective, I DREAMED(notice the caps) up 2 objects ‘dream and actual reality’ and the ‘effort of moving towards the actual reality from my dream position’.
Now again, if I sum up all this activity into a DREAM(caps), then again I am implying there is a reality beyond this DREAM(caps).
Then again there will be one more abstract imagination object created which would POINT TO a reality even beyond this DREAM.

This is a sort of recursive infinite loop.
It could be represented like this:
…dream5[awakenedReality4[dream3[awakenedReality2[dream1…]…]…]…]…

So there are infinite awakenings is what I am coming at.
It is not that you transcend your egoic dream and then awaken into nirvana and its OVER forever.
That is just one context.
Again there is the same recursion of contexts:
…context3[context2[context1…]…]…]…
